So MCEBuddy is working awesomely for preparing my WMC recordings for playing on my Surface RT. But I have a kinda messy situation.
The HD channels offered in New Zealand are in h.264 format (meaning, no conversion needed - just remuxing into mp4).
The SD channels are in mp2 format (which means they need full, ages slow conversion into mp4 format).
I've set up two profiles. The one looks for HD in the channel name. The second looks for ~HD in the channel name.
For some reason, this isn't working. For HD recordings, it works - it only uses the remuxing profile. But for SD channels, it first re-encodes using the SD profile, and then remuxes using the HD profile.
Can anyone help me set this up better?
The file names look like this:
International Hockey LIVE_SKY Sport 3 HD_2013_03_18_01_28_00.wtv
Using HD in the "file name" entry doesn't work - none of the files are selected. And if I look at the properties of a video, there is no "Channel name" entry. Only "Station name", which looks like:
SKY Sport 3 HD
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!!
