Skip protected files, fast remux the rest

I've been pulling my hair out the past few days trying to figure out how to get this one behavior.

The setup:

WMC records all TV into a single folder. I have MCEBuddy 2.3.12 set to look in this folder, with a task to fast remux everything to MKV and rename it to an XBMC-friendly format (I use the TVLibrary in WMC, which can handle both filename formats).

The issue is that MCEBuddy fails to remux copy protected files, but still renames and moves them out of the original directory. Is there any way to have it just skip over them when it first detects they're copy protected?

EDIT: I think the issue is that I've got the files set to archive, which seems to happily archive even the failed jobs. Is there some option I've missed to change this behavior?

What version of mcebuddy are you using?

If you are using 2.3.13 or later mcebuddy will detect copy protected files up front and will skip them ie will not rename or move them just mark them as failed and move on.

Post the log of one of your conversions.

You will need to upgrade to 2.3.13 or later
