MP4 codec issue

As a regular user of Windows Media Center to download TV programs, I’ve found MCE Buddy 2.3.14 to be just terrific in its ability to automatically convert the WTV files to more widely used MP4 files which are accepted on all my player devices except a Blaupunkt (late model) TV.
MP4 files presented on this device result in an “Unsupported file” message.
On investigation with the company I am advised that MP4 is acceptable but that the codec employed may not meet their requirements, which are as follows

H.264[AVC] MP
H.264[AVC] HP

Is there any way that I can incorporate one of these codecs into the generated MP4 file?

Mcebuddy uses the h.264 codec by default for its mp4 profile. However each converter is a little different and is possible that some of the options used in the conversion may lead to a file with an unsupported feature. For eg some devices do not support b frames. The mp4 profiles have b frames but the m4v profiles do not since many apple devices do not support b frames.

Try this, use the m4v fast profile it's. pretty basic profile and see if that file works on your device (you can rename the file to mp4 after the conversion if your device does not support m4v extension. There is no difference)

Thanks rboy1 for the really prompt response. Much appreciated.
Tried that but it didn't work.
The Blaupunkt TV is the only device with a problem so I'm thinking that even if I modify the conversion process to suit it my other devices may not accept the result.
(It really sounds like Blaupunkt problem.)
So on balance I'll not pursue the matter further.
Again, thank you.
