Convert to MKV, No Sound

Feb 17, 2014 at 12:43 AM
I downloaded MCE Buddy 2.3.1.3. and installed it on my computer with Windows 7. I converted my first video to MKV. I played it back. It looked great, but has no sound. I checked settings and could not see where I could make any adjustments. Any suggestions. Also does MCE Buddy include the audio codecs it refers to (i.e. ffmeg, etc.)? Thanks.

Ffmpeg does not provide codecs it is a conversions software.

Do you have any codec packs installed? Shark, klite etc? If so they are responsible for your issues most likely. Search the forum for more details
