Server 2012 R2 - locks during "extracting streams" step?

Feb 24, 2014 at 4:08 AM
It was working properly for a dozen or so conversions (all same directory), and now it's hit or miss... sometimes it works, and sometimes it gets hung up on the "Extracting Streams" step...

I followed the steps to register the DLLs and the metadata parses correctly - wonderful!

But since it locks up during the extracting streams process, it's kind of a mute point. :(

Any ideas what this means? In the log file I see this:

2014-02-23T22:36:15 MCEBuddy.AppWrapper.FFmpeg --> Starting process as a UISession process with Admin privileges. This requires atleast 1 user to be logged into the system (remote desktop or locally)
ERROR> 2014-02-23T22:36:15 --> StartAppWithAdminPrivilegesFromNonUISession WTSQueryUserToken failed (No logged on users) with error 1314. A required privilege is not held by the client.

WARNING> 2014-02-23T22:36:15 MCEBuddy.AppWrapper.FFmpeg --> Some functions like hardware encoding may not work in this mode

a little later:

--> FFMpeg output file size [KB] -> 932,799.00
ERROR> --> 0 Channel ReMux using FFMPEG failed at 13.4365%
INFORMATION> 2014-02-23T22:40:04 MCEBuddy.RemuxMediaCenter.RemuxMCERecording --> Copy remux loop 2

--> Checking for 0 Channel Audio Tracks in \theatre\d$\Recorded TV\Once Upon a Time_WQADDT_2013_04_14_18_58_00.wtv

However, I AM logged in and using the software... so I'm not sure why I get this sometimes? And why is it checking for a zero channel audio track?

If you need to see more of my log file, what is the best way to post that? Should I just copy and paste all four million pages? :) Thanks for the help!

The streams hanging is an issue which was reported recently and will be fixed in future. That is primarily related to extracting Closed captions, turn it off as a temp solution.

Also will need your whole file, upload it to a site (dropbox or skydrive) and post hte link here

Can you also upload one of the original WTV files which "hangs" while extracting streams to test the fix. You may need to upload it to dropbox or a public site from where I can download it.

I've fixed the issue with the next build, since I dont' have any file to test it you'll have to test it out (and possibly upload a test file I can use for future checks)
