Do you need to be logged in W7 in order for MCEBuddy to work per a start/stop schedule

I am running W7 with MCEBuddy 2.3 Beta 15. I have a schedule to start at 8 am and end at 5 pm M-F.

When I went into the finished directory, I saw that MCEBuddy did not run when it was suppose to to remove commercials. My PC was running, but I was not logged into my W7 profile. Do I need to be logged into a W7 profile in order for MCEBuddy to run in the background?

No you do not need to be logged in (however if you're using hardware encoding you need to be logged on - windows limitation) Check the logs for why mcebuddy did not run. Are you sure it didn't run? Was your computer on battery mode? (It pauses it on battery)

PC does not have a battery (desktop) and my metric on how I know it did not run was that a show that was recorded did not have a new file created or commercials removed.

Sorry I am not aware of what hardware encoding is, so I cannot respond to it.

There is the log file that was about 40 minutes after my start time, so this would fit on when I would think that the program should have been done. Since there was a log file created, that would lead me to believe that MCEBuddy did run. If that is the case, then I guess I have a different problem in why it would not have removed the commericals and made a new file like it normally does.

Since I don't know what I am looking for in the log file, can you tell me what to look for (it seemed really long to copy its entirety here).

Please upload your log file (mcebuddy.log) (you can zip it) to dropbox or some file hosting site and post the link here. There could be many reason, going through the mcebuddy.log will tell the whole story
