Hi there, I am converting my WMC recordings (.wtv files) to mp4 for playback on my roku. Is there a guide that can show me how to setup mcebuddy to create and save the meta data in poster and movie sheet images for the roku to use? Right now it is all being saved into the actual mp4 file, but I need the image to be a separate jpg file.

the posters and metadata are embedded into the MP4 file if you've enabled Write Metadata in the expert settings.

Do you need this to be saved separately?

Yes, if that's possible. I am hoping to use this with my roku. It supports xml files with meta data, movie sheets, and images that have the same file name (except for the ext) as the video.

Thank you for your help :)

Check the Save metadata box under expert settings and it'll create a XML file with all the metadata in it expect the image file. Are you sure you need a separate image file?

Sadly I do not seem to have this option. I am using the early access version .15. Unfortunately the roku does not read the image or data from the video file. Thanks!

It's there, Conversion Task Options -> Advanced Settings -> Expert Settings -> Metadata Management

Also when that option is enabled it copies the poster file also to the destination if it exists. i will update the pop up help to mention thath.

Your absolutely right, I am blind and totally missed the "Expert Settings" button. Without my glasses I thought it said "Export Settings" - HAHAHAHA :)
