Problem with closed captioning

Aug 18, 2014 at 11:58 PM
had a conversion fail due to, I think, a problem with extracting closed captioning. I uploaded FantomWorks_HDT_2014_08_17_19_59_00 and the log file associated with it.

Thanks for reporting, am waiting for the upload to complete to replicate and fix the issue.

Actually this bug was a found and fixed a few days ago. Try using the current 2.4.1 build and see if it fixes your issue. The timestamps in some closed captions were negative (bad stamps) which MCEBuddy didn't expect and didn't handle hence leading to
a failure. Now the code handles invalid timestamps also.

I noticed you're using the 8.14 build

INFORMATION> --> MCEBuddy Build Date : 08/14/2014 12:46:00

This bug was fixed on 8/18, try the latest build and see if it fails.

okay we have the sample WTV file looking into it

Okay this issue has been fixed with today's build of MCEBuddy. The issue was your WTV has some timing errors which was causing ccextractor to generate invalid timestamps. This caused the conversion to fail. With the fix it handles incorrect timestamsp much better and also with an upgrade to CCExtractor now there is a 10% performance boost by not extracting the streams video for corrupted WTV/DVRMS files.
