SmartThings Integration

One of the the many things we have been dabbling with is Integrating MCEBuddy with SmartThings.

The wesbite is

For those who don't know SmartThings, it's a M2M (machine to machine) platform for the Internet of Things, or in simple words it allows you to control devices from your SmartPhone. So you can know when your door is open, lock the door, control your thermostat, set off alarms, turn on/off lights, machines, coffee pots, music systems etc etc etc.
And you can write simple programs to control them - so e.g. when you leave the house the systems should turn off the A/C, turn off the lights, lock all doors, arm the motion sensors etc. When you return do the reverse. If you see motion in this room, do this etc. the Sky's the limit.

Very cool stuff, infact we've been writing many apps for the SmartThings platform and are planning to put them up in the MCEBuddy server as well for our fans and customer who want to get into Home Automation.
Look for all the latest Apps we have created.

One of the things we've been looking is creating an interface for MCEBuddy on the SmartThings platform which allows you to control MCEBuddy from there. Essentially it would like a mobile interface for iOS and Android to do basic things like Start, Stop, Pause and Resume MCEBuddy.

Looking for ideas from folks who are familiar with the ST platform on what else we could do with the integration?
