I record My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic for my daughter. MCEBuddy is set to create a show and season folder. For some reason the show folder it's creating (and the name of the file itself) is "My Little Pony Les amies c'est magique!" which I assume is french. Any idea why this is happening and how I can correct it?

Here's the section from the conversion log where I think it's making this decision:

Will need more of the conversion log, can you post a link to the file to include the section related to extraction of metadata.

Try unchecking download metadata in expert settings.

So far, I've processed about 25 episodes of this show and oddly, ONE of them ended up with the english title, all the rest are in French.

Here'so the complete conversing log for the ONE that ended upplease with the English title:

here's the conversion log for one of the rest that ended up with the French title.

This issue has been fixed with the latest 2.4.2 build, please download it and test it from the early access server
You have an option now in the Metadata correction page in Expert Settings to have IMDB overwrite your title if you choose to use the IMDB Title.

can you provide a short blurb about what was going wrong?

Sure, what was happening was that under some conditions (like if the subtitle was missing or IMDB was a match) it was overwriting the title from TVDB or IMDB depending up on the condition. This function was implemented since some users wanted to use the correct title from IMDB (TVDB was a bug of sorts).

Anyway it's been streamlined now, it will ONLY download missing information from the internet, the only other condition is that if the user selected overwrite title from IMDB it will overwrite the title from IMDB (unless the metadata correction has been used in which case the overwrite is ignored since the user has corrected the metadata).

It took time to fix since it was a significant logic rewrite for the metadata module.
