ffmpeg keeps crashing

May 4, 2015 at 2:51 PM
ffmpeg keeps crashing, approximately every 5 minutes. This began within the past week. When it crashes, whichever application or window I am using/typing in will lose focus for about a second.

Here is a recent error report. Unfortunately, this is all the info I know right now. Anyone else getting this?

Anyone else getting this or have any ideas? I keep updating ffmpeg to the latest version (since this started) to see if it will fix anything, but it does no good. Still getting 2 crashes every 5 minutes. And now any recent recordings processed by MCEBuddy have the audio and video completely out of sync.

have you tried running it directly. It's likely some third party app (maybe anttivirus) is blocking it. Have you tried googling it?

Yes, I have ran it directly. I have also added it to Windows Firewall and as an exception in Windows Defender.

Did it crash when running directly?

Yes it did. However, it has not crashed in the last two or three weeks after upgrading to the most recent (since May 7) ffmpeg build.
