Folks, thanks for your support and feedback.

We're working on updating the documentation for MCEBuddy. If you've got any suggestions, go ahead and share them. The goal is to make MCEBuddy super easy to use. So starting with how was your first use impression

You may want to add a warning stating not to install MCEBuddy to the root of a drive as the uninstall process will erase everything on it. Don't ask me how I know lol.

Wow, that needs to be checked out. RBoy can you look into.

@rx7guy when you say root, do you mean C:\MCEBuddy or C:\?

Also what version/build are you using?

It was a while back and I believe it was one of the 2.4.2 beta versions. I think I installed it to E:\ (my storage drive) thinking it would create it's own directory. When I uninstalled it it was taking a long time so I reset my computer and when it finished booting I noticed a bunch of folders missing. I had backups of everything so I didn't lose anything.

Aah yes. Mcebuddy clears the installation directory upon uninstall to avoid reinstall issues. @maddygoose please document this

Thanks for reporting this, fixed this in today's build, it won't delete the directory on uninstall if the install directory is the root directory.
