Error while converting

Dec 3, 2015 at 9:09 PM
I move files that are recorded from HDHOMERUN DVR to a share folder but I am now getting some errors, not sure what I need to do to fix them.

E:\HDHOMERUN\American Horror Story\American Horror Story S05E08 20151202 [20151203-0300.mpg 12/03/2015 01:09:32 Error Convert to MP4 HDHomeRun H.264 Converted file has been renamed or deleted by custom command

E:\HDHOMERUN\Blood & Oil\Blood & Oil S01E08 20151129 [20151130-0200.mpg 12/02/2015 22:48:29 Error Convert to MP4 HDHomeRun H.264 Converted file has been renamed or deleted by custom command

Did you create a custom command? something is deleting the converted file in between the conversion and the end of the custom command and hence mcebuddy is throwing an error.

I have not done anything custom. Where can I look for this "Custom Command"? Now these files are getting dropped into a folder monitored by Plex, is it possible that Plex is causing this?

Aah that may be possible, just look at your log, just before the error and see what MCEbuddy's doing. The custom command have to be written into profiles.conf. (for advanced users, see documentation)

I dont see anything custom, what is the best way to default everything and start over?

Upload the log file to the server and let us talk a look at it. (post the name here).

BEst way is delete the monitor tasks and conversion tasks and create new ones. There really isn't much you can "mess" in the settings. It's likely a third party program interfering.

Let us look at the conversion log first.

Thanks for that. We found a bug, this was very specific to the way the HDHR profile works and the fact that you had selected Rename only which was causing the issue.

Anyways this has been fixed in today's build.

Thanks for reporting this.
