right click on it and select info from the queue, if you see language next to the track you can specify the language.

In the picture above ( ) I cannnot see the language of the third track.
So I'm asking for possibility to select audio track by specifying the track number instead.

How to solve this problem? Is there a workaround?

Not though the user interface but you can customize a profile to select the 3rd audio track. You'll have to know ffmpeg or handbrake commands for it.

OK, I'll try to play with it.

It might be useful if you can handle it both ways. User would enter either language code as it is implemented now OR enter /into the same edit field/ the track number directly.

Does it sound reasonable?

Yes, if the language is unique then selection will work, otherwise like on your case there's no language for the track 3 you'll have to edit the profile to tell the encoder take a specific track (make sure you don't select Automatically select best audio track in the GUI)
