Exists folder please

description

The move to failed folder and the archive folder are really useful options to keep track of your conversions. With the new feature that does not convert if the file exists, it would be nice to have a similar exiistis folder.

It's already there under Conversion Task -> Advanced Settings -> Expert Settings -> Skip reprocess

Yes I know that, What I want is a folder to move the file to if it is skipped.

What happens to the file is what option you've checked in the settings page:
  1. Delete
  2. Archive
  3. Sync
with the current architecture there cannot be custom actions for a skiped conversion since a skipped conversion is treated as a successful conversion

I do not understand why a skip folder cannot be implemented. Seems to me it should be easy but then again I did not write the software. Could a skipped log be created? I am guessing same answer. :(

I do not understand the sync feature. I understand how it works. What I do not understand is why you would ever want to use it.

You can search the forum on how sync is used. It's useful when watching different formats of the same file across multiple devices, delete only once.

I don't undersatnd how moving to a "skipped" folder helps? The idea is that if the file already exists then you don't want to convert so either delete or archive it (or leave it alone) just like any other recording. How does moving to a skppped folder help? What use the information for which files are skipped?

BTW it's easy to find out which files are skipped, look at the history log, if the conversion time is 0 and the conversion is successful, it's skipped.
