Just this past week, I've noticed that MCE Buddy has been naming output files with missing season and episode information. Using the file renaming string exactly as used as an example in the guide:
%showname%\Season %season%\%showname% - S%season%##E%episode%## - %episodename% - %airyear%_%airmonth%_%airday%
My output files since a few days ago have looked like this:
The Office\Season \The Office - SE - Andy's Ancestry - 2012_10_03.mkv
While they should look like this:
The Office\Season 9\The Office - S09E03 - Andy's Ancestry - 2012_10_03.mkv
This started while I was running version 2.2.17. I suspect that it may have had something to do with me having recorded, and MCE Buddy then transcoding, the Presidential debate - which of course would not have a season or episode number (or perhaps it was
caused by the disproportionate amount of hot air spewed during the debate???). I've since moved up to 2.3.1, but this does not seem to have had any effect.
Any suggestions on how to resolve it? The problem is that XBMC does not recognize the files as episodes for that series until I manually add the season and episode number to the file names.
