Audio gets out of sync after second commercial

Jan 19, 2013 at 9:51 PM

After the last upgrade I adjusted some of my settings back to what they had been before (to fix a different problem, thank you), and in the last few weeks everything looks fine, but after the second commercial the audio is out of whack. It's not the case where it is just off a few seconds but completely off, like still in the commercial while I am looking at the show.

I have uploaded the log for one show that has this problem to here:

I would appreciate any help you can provide. This is a great program.

Okay there's an issue, ffmpeg is having trouble with the audio and video when the format changes between the commercials.

For now, here's a simple fix until I get to the root.

Open profiles.conf

goto the section of MP4 Normal profile  of whatever profile you're using.

and it'll solve your problem

Thanks. I had started to archive after the last issue and hadn't turned it off after that one was solved, so I can run all the ones since (as I don't know if some had the issue or all and I don't want to try and figure it out), so I'm running them all through again.

Thanks, I had also started to see this after the latest update.

I've removed the -async 1 from the profile in the latest build, that is useful only in some specific cases
