Copy entire filename less extension into file metadata title field

Dec 31, 2013 at 5:40 AM
How do I change the parameters so I can copy the entire file name (less extension) into the file metadata title field? I have a new not-so-Smart TV and when it uses the DNLA services to retrieve file information, it uses the file metadata title field to display the title on screen.

The default value the MCEBuddy writes into that field is the series name only. I would like it to display the series, season, episode and show title, exactly how the file name appears.

I looked for an answer in discussions, but didn't find it. Sorry if this is a repeat as it seems a simple question.

Thanks!

You will need to use a customcommand and write a batch file to use atomicparsley to rewrite the metadata after the conversion is complete.

See the documentation on custom commands and Search this forum for the thread on how do the same.
