Bitrate in profile not being followed for handbreak QS encoding

Dec 31, 2013 at 7:56 PM
I have the standard MP4 High Quality profile and updated it for the handbreak qsv_h264 encoder with MCEBuddy 2.3.14.

But i noticed that while it is being encoded and after it is encoded, the parameters passed to the HandBreakCLI.exe has the bitrate at 3200, and not 1800 to what my profile has.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Here is a link to a word document I pasted some screenshots in.

The 1800 is base lined at 720width. As the video scale changes mcebuddy will change the bitrate to match the quality.

If you don't want to change the bitrate use FixedResolution=true in the profile and it won't change the resolution or bitrate.

This is very interesting, because the videos I were transcoding, had a resolution of 720p.
