Comskip no longer works when I installed 2.3.15

May 20, 2014 at 8:19 PM
Worked excellent on 2.3.14, but now it does not remove ANYTHING.
Tried a clean install, has not helped. It appears that comskip is not being passed the correct arguments. I am unsure how to proceed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am an IT guy but this has me scratching my head.
I don't want to roll back to 2.3.14 to have this functioning again..

Thanks,

Well, I just started the MCEBuddy command line service and re-ran the conversion.. This appears to have worked.
Any idea why this has to be launched?

Thanks for the great piece of software by the way :)

I had the same problem and could not understand why others weren't. Finally figured out that you need the donor version of ComSkip. After I installed it, everything worked find. It is also much faster. I assume all the other beta testers are using the donate addition of ComSkip since they are looking for the fastest performance. That's why you don't want to limit your beta testers to only the experts.

Okay once again , I just answered this question a few days ago. Please don't try to debug using pieces and excerpt of debug code, leave that to us, please state your issue.

The so called error you are seeing is NOT an error, it's normal to run comskip without any arguments to determine the type (free or donator).

What is your issue? Are you using the 2.3.15 RELEASE version? This issue of the free version of Comskip not working in service mode was addressed a week ago and has been fixed with the final release.
