GPU Hardware Acceleration Issue

Oct 12, 2014 at 12:46 AM
I am having problem with GPU Hardware Acceleration with my MCEBuddy 2.4 (beta 1) version. I am using AMD Radeon R9 280x graphics card which does support Open CL 1.2 and I have the latest gpu driver installed. Whenever I try to convert my vidoes from wtv to mp4, it only uses my CPU not my GPU. I checked the MCEBuddy log and it does have the option Prefer Hardware Encoding -> True, but still I don't get GPU hardware acceleration. I am a newbie when it comes to this kind of stuff. I would really appreciate if someone could help me. Thanks and this is my hardware:
Intel i7 4790k
Asus Radeon R9 280x
8Gb ram.

Please let me know if you guys need any other information. Once again thanks.

Go through the Hardware encoding FAQ. OpenCL is used for video services like cropping, scaling etc. QuickSync is used for encoding.

Thanks for replay. I didn't have iGPU enable in the BIOS. After doing that and enabling QuickSync, if fixed my issue. Thanks for your help.
