This is for folks who want to use Push A Lot service to get notifications on your devices about conversions, queues etc.

For now you can use the eMail Gateway feature for PushALot to have MCEBuddy send eMails to PushALot which will then be pushed to your app.
Taken from here https://pushalot.com/api

To configure MCEBuddy to send Notifications to Pushalot:
  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on General Settings
  3. Click on Send eMail
  4. Use the following settings
SMTP Server: api.pushalot.com
SMTP Port: 25
SSL: Unchecked
From Address: yourEMailAddress
To Address: AUTHORIZATION_TOKEN@api.pushalot.com
.

Make sure you replace yourEMailAddress with your eMail Address and AUTHORIZATION_TOKEN with your PushALot Authorization token.

Enjoy!

Tried these settings and it fails when I try to send a test message.

MCEBuddy doesn't give a reason for the fail.

Any ideas?

Check if the port is open or being firewalled and if you authentication token is correct.
If you send me your details (PM it to me instead of posting here) I can try to debug it to see why it's failing after you've tried the above.

Ah, I thought that was a standard email port. I'll try opening it on my router. Already checked the firewall and MCEb was cleared

Yes but many ISP block non secured email ports (25). So you should see if the ISP is blocking it. It's a security thing from their side. I know comcast blocks it
