Roku profile not adjusting frame rate

Oct 9, 2015 at 11:52 AM
I'm trying to transcode some WTV files so that they'll direct play on my Roku 3 (using the Roku 3 profile in MCEBuddy). But for some reason the files still have their original 59 FPS as opposed to the 29 required to direct play on the Roku. I've even tried to adjust the setting manually in the Expert Settings section but the framerates remain unchanged.

that's weird the profile dictates a FPS to 29.97
Can you attach a link to your conversion log (without the manual override).

Yea, I noticed that too. AFAIK it's the only reason the files are still transcoding and not direct playing.

I'll post logs tonight when I get home.

Looks like handbrake is ignoring the frame rate directive. Try downloading the latest nightly build of handbrake CLI from here (64 bit if I see your logs).

Replace the handbrakecli.exe in the mcebuddy installation directory and try it again. Let me know how it goes.

That fixed it. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, time for us to update the handbrake build.

The latest build has the new version of handbrake in it to solve this issue. Thanks for reporting this.
