On Demand / Command Line Conversion

Oct 25, 2015 at 1:13 PM
Hi,

Hopefully a quick / easy question, but I can't seem to find an answer. Is there a way to initiate a conversion (add a file to the queue) via the command line? I would like to trigger a conversion after other tasks are done (i.e. NextPVR, completed comskip).

Thanks!

"C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy2x\MCEBuddy.UserCLI.exe" --command=addfile --action="%~f1"

Thanks for the pointer! What do you mean by "%~f1"? This should be the full path to the filename, right (after some digging)?

Now to go with this, is there a way to tell MCEBuddy to NEVER convert files (i.e. I'll add them manually)?

Thanks again.

Yes it will automatically add the full file path. As far as only processing manually added files what I did is point MCEBUDDY to an empty directory with no files ... then it will only convert files I add manually.

yes use the MCEBuddy.UserCLI.exe
Run it in a command prompt without any params to get the usage description.

That works - thanks so much for the help!
