what do you mean "on delivery"?

If your monitoring a folder and its sub directories for example:

Path to monitor:
D:/shows

Path to file
D:/shows/everybody loves john/collection 1/file.ts

Destination:
D:/processed

Normally the file would land here:
D:/processed/file.ts

with path preservation it would land here:
D:/processed/everybody loves john/collection 1/file.ts

From the documentation:

  • %relativesourcepath% - Relative folder path of the source file to the monitoring root path. The leading and trailing directory separators (\) are automatically inserted where required (v2.4.3+)

Please note starting 2.4.6 %relativesourcepath% will no longer end with a \, you will need to add the \ to your filename or custom command patterns
%relativesourcepath% - Relative folder path of the source file to the monitoring root path. (v2.4.6+)
This has been corrected to keep it line with other directory patterns.
