Beyonwiz T3 Metadata

Sep 6, 2016 at 11:44 AM

Thankyou very much for creating this program.

I am using MCEBuddy to scan files recorded from my Beyonwiz T3.

MCEBuddy is not detecting the metadata for the file as the Beyonwiz T3 uses the following filename structure:

yyyymmdd hhmm - Network - Show Name - Episode Name
20160906 0855 - ONE - Megastructures - Korean Superlink
%recordyear%%recordmonth%%recordday% - %network% - %showname% - %episodename%
Additionally, the Beyonwiz T3 does create a metadata file, this has the same filename as the video, but with the extension ".meta". This seems to be a text file and when I open it, the .meta files reads:
Korean Superlink

It would be great if MCEBuddy was able to either detect the file naming pattern from the original file name, or read the data from the .meta file

Thanks very much

If you can upload the .meta file sample we can look at adding support for reading it. We need many samples of different types shows movies sports news serials documentaries etc.
also is there a specification for the meta files?

Thanks for the reply.

I have found the specification for the .meta files (and other files created by the Beyonwiz T3). This is located at:

(I believe the Beyonwiz T3 is a version of an Enigma box).

I have also uploaded examples of the .meta files into the upload folder:

I have also scheduled some more recordings of different types so that we get more of a variety of .meta files.

Thanks very much for your help
