Network Auth when no path specified

I want it to put the output file next to the old one, so empty configuration for destination. I can't seem to enter authentication info for a network path in this situation. I got around this on wolindows 8 by running the service as a user that has access to the network share, but on Windows 10, running as anything but the service user causes a crash.

I am also running this as a post recording hook, so no monitor path either.

Not an easy one, unless it sees a network path it can't authenticate. Try this, create a dummy monitor task (set the filters to crazy e.g. ww.xx) and set it to point to the network path you want and then set the credentials, it'll authenticate and everything should work.
